In harmony with creation

The Holland House Programme

We offer a varied programme of events, quiet days and day and residential retreats which are open to all throughout the year. These are led by a variety of speakers and retreat leaders including the Warden, Reverend Ian Spencer. In most cases morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea are included for all-day events and full board is included for residential events. You can book for most of these by going to the Online shop.

Quiet Days at Holland House

Spend the day at Holland House on a guided retreat led by the Warden or a visiting retreat leader.

During the summer months, spend the day enjoying the beautiful gardens on a Quiet Garden Day

Friendly Lunches

A monthly lunch is followed by a talk from a visiting speaker. The bar is open from 12 o'clock and a delicious two course meal is served at 12.30 pm, followed by a talk by the speaker of the day

Experiences of Spirituality

During 2017 Marianne Rankin will be leading a series of day retreats focusing on spirituality and a range of different religious and spiritual experiences.

The View from the Hill

Discerning what to do next in life can sometimes be a challenge. This is the focus of this individual retreat with guidance from the Warden, Ian Spencer.

Residential Retreats

Spend two or three days on retreat here with full board. This year's residential retreats include 'Yoga in Lent', The Art of Holiness in Icon, Image and Hymn, and a retreat based on Richard Rohr's book 'Everything belongs'.

Also on at Holland House...

Other activities and events taking place at Holland House include Zen Meditation with the Wild Goose Sangha and opening the House and Gardens as part of the Cropthorne Walkabout.
