The retreat will be led by Diarmuid O’Murchu, social scientist, writer and retired missionary, much of whose life has been devoted to Adult Faith Development across several countries. He has published many books, including Divine Radiance in Human Evolution (2025) and Ecological Spirituality (2024). You can find out more about him on
diarmuidomurchu.com.
About the retreat, Diarmuid writes: ‘Across the contemporary world we are witnessing a crisis of religious belief, vacillating between fundamentalism and agnosticism. Over the past 50 years, an alternative spiritual consciousness has been evolving, with a vibrancy and creative potential that makes a great deal more sense; this retreat will explore its cultural and religious significance.’
Holland House is a comfortable retreat house in Worcestershire, with excellent food and a beautiful garden.
