All of our terms and conditions are below. Please read the section that applies to your type of booking.


2025 Dinner, Bed & Breakfast / Bed & breakfast Terms & Conditions of Booking Agreement:

1. These terms and conditions and the booking form, form the basis of the agreement between you and Holland House. By signing the booking form, you agree that you are over 18 years of age and that you accept full responsibility for all payments due and for the consequences of any actions by all guests pertained to on the booking form. You are also responsible for forwarding these Terms and Conditions to all participants so they are aware of their obligations.
2. Bookings will be confirmed in writing on receipt of both the booking form and your non-refundable deposit:
a. £25 per person per night
b. Bookings made within 28 days of arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.
3. Cancellation Policy
a. Cancellation of the whole booking within 3 months of arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the sum agreed.
b. Cancellation of the whole booking within 28 days of arrival will be charged in full, this includes cancellation due to illness.
c. Change in numbers of guests within 28 days of arrival are charged in full, this includes cancellation due to illness.
d. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. We recommend you take out your own insurance to cover cancellation fees, should you need to cancel through illness or any unforeseen circumstances.
5. Holland House reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time in the event of circumstances beyond our control, or if it is necessary to undertake essential works at the House. In these very unlikely circumstances Holland House will endeavour to offer suitable alternative booking dates. If no such alternative is agreed, then we will refund in full all monies received by us for the booking. Holland house will not otherwise be liable for any loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation.
6. Your invoice will be forwarded 21 days before your visit via our Liberty Accounting software and payment must be made in full 14 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made via direct bank transfer or we are able to accept credit/debit card (not Amex/Diners) payment over the telephone.
7. If your group consists of 10 or more and you wish to pay individually, this can be done by prior arrangement only and we must receive full contact details for every guest at least 3 months in advance or at the time of booking (whichever comes first).
8. House Times
a. Breakfast is served at 8.30am (9am on Sunday)
b. Dinner (2 courses) is served at 6pm (if booked on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis)
c. Please contact us directly to request alternative mealtimes – alterations may not be possible and may incur a surcharge if accommodated
9. Special Dietary requirements must be received at least 14 days in advance as all food is ordered and cooked freshly. If we do not receive this information in advance, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfil your requirements.
10. Please note that all meals at Holland House are ‘set’ we do not offer a menu with choices but we are able to cater for most the common diets that we have been made aware of i.e. vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, coeliac, dairy free. If an individual has a dietary-related, medical need they must contact Holland House at least 14 days prior to their stay (advisable at point of booking) to ask if accommodating their dietary needs is possible (it may not be). If it is necessary, there will be an extra charge to cover any extra staff time involved.
11. Wherever possible all produce is home grown or locally sourced.
12. Please note that bedrooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure. If you are arriving or departing outside of these times, we are able to store your overnight baggage until required.
13. Holland House only has one ground floor/accessible bedroom which if required, should be requested at time of booking.
14. If you require the use of the chapel during your stay please indicate at the time of booking. This may not always be possible.
15. Unless exclusive use of the House is pre-arranged and paid for, we reserve the right to have more than one group/set of guests in the House at the same time. You are only guaranteed the number of rooms that you have booked and paid for, and last-minute additions may not be possible.
16. Exclusive use of the house is available at a supplement, please contact us for details.
17. All guests visiting the house have full access to the gardens.
18. Please kindly note that guests are not permitted to consume their own alcoholic drinks on our licensed premises. All drinks must be purchased from our licensed bar.
19. Holland House, its gardens and contents must be treated with care and respect and we reserve the right to request any costs incurred in making good any losses, breakages or damage which have been sustained.
20. You must ensure that rooms are left in a clean and tidy condition on your departure at the end of your stay.
21. Guests are obliged to:
a. Observe all fire and safety rules and procedures.
b. Respect Holland House property and our place (including being considerate and quiet for other guests at night)
c. Not use rooms for any activity or in such a way as to cause nuisance or annoyance to other groups/guests, any music must cease at 10pm.
22. Holland House reserves the right to refuse any booking.
23. Holland House reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and ask you and your guests to leave immediately if this is deemed necessary by us as a result of your behaviour or your guests or any material breach by you of the terms of this Agreement.

2025 Day Groups/Guests Terms & Conditions of Booking Agreement:

2025 Residential Terms & Conditions of Booking Agreement:

1. These terms and conditions and the booking form, form the basis of the agreement between you and Holland House. By signing the booking form, you agree that you are over 18 years of age and that you accept full responsibility for all payments due, and for the consequences of any actions by all participants. You are also responsible for forwarding these Terms and Conditions to all participants so they are aware of their obligations.
2. Bookings will be confirmed in writing on receipt of both the booking form and your non-refundable deposit:
a. Monday – Thursday residential guests £25 per person per night
b. Weekend residential guests £60 per person per weekend
c. Bookings made more than 12 months in advance require a £100 holding deposit which will be deducted from the deposit as above. If the full deposit is more than £100, the remainder of the deposit will become due 12 months before the arrival date of the booking.
d. Bookings made within 28 days of arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.

2025 ‘The Den’ Self-Catering Accommodation Terms & Conditions of Booking Agreement:

1. These terms and conditions and the booking form, form the basis of the agreement between you and Holland House. By signing the booking form, you agree that you are over 18 years of age and that you accept full responsibility for all payments due and for the consequences of any actions by all guests pertained to on the booking form. You are also responsible for forwarding these Terms and Conditions to all participants so they are aware of their obligations.

a. £50 per night
b. Bookings made within 28 days of arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.
3. Cancellation Policy

c. Not use the Den for any activity or in such a way as to cause nuisance or annoyance to other groups/guests at Holland House, or the neighbouring properties. Any music must cease at 10pm.
12. Holland House reserves the right to refuse any booking.
13. Holland House reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and ask you and your guests to leave immediately if this is deemed necessary by us as a result of your behaviour or your guests or any material breach by you of the terms of this Agreement.

2025 Afternoon Tea only Terms & Conditions of Booking Agreement:

1. These terms and conditions and the booking form, form the basis of the agreement between you and Holland House. By signing the booking form, you agree that you are over 18 years of age and that you accept full responsibility for all payments due and for the consequences of any actions by all participants. You are also responsible for forwarding these Terms and Conditions to all participants so they are aware of their obligations.
