Have you enjoyed and valued your time at Holland House?
If so, please consider becoming a ‘Friend’ and supporting the work we do with and on
behalf of the House.
The Friends of Holland House keep in touch through an occasional newsletter, emails and this webpage as well as meeting up with Friends at Holland House events.
The Friends organise programmed events such as Quiet Garden Days and day and residential retreats which are open to all and support other activities at the House through volunteering and publicising events.
During 2020 the Friends were pleased to be able to make a significant financial contribution to the installation of new IT communication facilities to enable events at Holland House to also be available online. More recently we have contributed to new carpeting in the Drawing Room and Entrance Hall areas, new mattresses in all of the guest rooms and new garden furniture.
A committee is elected each year. The current Chair of the Friends is Canon Dr Julie Fay. The committee meets three or four times each year and all Friends are welcome to come along to this open meeting – although only members of the committee can vote. This is an opportunity for other Friends to hear about the work of committee members and the Trustees and meet the Warden and other staff.
Please note the date for the 2025 AGM will be Monday 13th October at 4:30 pm at Holland House. Holland House will be offering a Quiet Day on the 13th of October (free for Friends) before the AGM. We plan to offer a delicious dinner with fellow Friends after the AGM (price and details to follow).
