Description
The music of the Taizé Community has become a staple in worship. But many of us have little sense of how extensive it is. Come and spend a day exploring beautiful and lesser known chants, interspersed with periods of reflection and silence. We will end the day singing what we have learnt in a late afternoon service at 4.30pm, to which all are welcome.
Olivia Graham is an Anglican priest, a former Bishop of Reading, and spiritual director. Her longstanding connection with the Taizé Community has had a deep impact on her spirituality.
Keith Glenny is a church musician and former choir director who enjoys exploring the ways in which music can deepen the experience of worship and prayer.
The day will begin at 10am and concludes with tea and cake at 4pm followed by the service at 4.30pm. A two course lunch will be served at 1pm.
