Create Art Ministry, offers a time and space in the week, to be still from the busyness of everyday life. At Create we use Christian Mindfulness, Relaxation and Art Therapy to do just that, using art materials to creatively connect us to God, his peace, love and to build faith!
When we enter the creative process, we enter a place of connection with God who made all things. We learn to be still, ask questions and listen for God’s heart for us, the creative ways in which we respond bring healing, hope and joy.
In Create Pray sessions at Holland House there will a variety of art materials to playfully create with, and your own scrapbook is in included in your first sess ion, to keep all your work.
The creativity is based on the most well-known Bible verse referencing feathers is Psalm 91:4. It reads, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
We will prayerfully create together for a beautiful collage for your Scrapbook.
Your creativity is not about the outcome but the process and listening to God and enjoying his presence. You don’t have to call yourself creative to enjoy this creative space and I will be there to guide and encourage you all the way!
The first part of the day we will focus on a theme to inspire our creativity until lunch. After lunch, you can continue being creative or enjoy the gardens, or both.
All are welcome, of any age and ability, and you will leave feeling better than when you came!
This course is for a full day in a small group from 10am -4pm and includes a two-course lunch and refreshments.

Please note that Holland House does not provide a choice menu at meal times and it is therefore very important that you note any food types that you are unable to eat due to an allergy or you can advise of a dietary preference of vegetarian, pescatarian, dairy free, gluten free or vegan.
