Description
Libraries of the World with Sue Ablett
Why would a non-librarian choose to do a talk about libraries of the world? You’ll have to come along to find out! Speaker, Sue Ablett, who has been Chair of Evesham Festival of Words since its inception in 2016, is a global traveller and confesses to having a very enquiring mind. Having come across an interesting library on her travels, it prompted her to do some more research. This talk, which she describes, as “fun and informative”, romps around the world looking at libraries, big and small, old and new, curious and quirky, far flung and closer to home, as well as some very out of the way libraries. And not all libraries just stock books – there are other interesting things you can borrow from libraries.
This is a joint Holland House/Evesham Festival of Words event.
Arrivals from 12.30pm, lunch will be served at 1pm
