Description
Woodworking Workshop – The Road to the Cross
This day workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect on the road to the cross while making an abstract sculpture, using wood off-cuts. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, the day will provide an opportunity to explore and make use of your own inner resources through ‘making’.
The day will begin and end with worship, and will provide space for reviewing your work, as well as discussion. Expect to be surprised and enriched!
No experience of wood working is necessary. All materials will be provided.
The day will begin at 10am, and will include a 2-course lunch. It concludes at 4pm with tea and cake.
Jonathon Hemingray is a Christian sculptor, whose work often makes use of native oak and yew. His sales help support the work of Compassion International.
